Research Interests & Background:

I am broadly interested in human-wildlife interactions and the ways in which wildlife populations, specifically mesocarnivores, are adapting to urbanizing environments. Before joining the MECU, I got my BA in biology and chemistry from Mount Holyoke College, during which I primarily conducted research on the physiological stress that bumble bees face in response to climate change. I’ve also worked in wildlife rehabilitation, which shaped my perspective on urban ecology and wildlife coexistence in cities.
